Featuring down-lights to light up your stove and fireplace, these beams offer a 140mm thickness; a nice deep surface for mantel-top decorations, and are cast from a fire-resistant material. This means they can be used safely within closer proximity to your stove or flue pipe than would be permissible with a real-wood beam, without sacrificing the visual appeal of real wood, as these are finished to emulate genuine timber for an authentic appearance which we're confident you'll agree are incredibly convincing! We have a selection of them fitted in our showroom with fantastic results & responses from our customers.
Available in 5 different lengths and 4 finish variations, there's a choice to suit almost every scenario - and if not, don't forget to check out or full range of mantel beams, where you'll find other non-combustible options and solid wood options available.
Non-combustible beams of this type are primarily designed for use where regulations state that the distance from a stove or its flue pipe would be too close to use a timber beam safely; but equally they are often a preferred choice simply with a view of longevity and ease of maintenance - a real wood beam is lovely but are more susceptible to staining and tarnishing, where a cast beam is not a natural absorbent material and can simply be wiped clean.

I am thrilled with my new logburner. Deri was very professional and the whole process from ordering to seeing the job finished was outstanding. The end result looks amazing - in fact even better than ‘amazing’! Thanks to Deri’s suggestion to add a large slate behind the fire it is now an even more wonderful, striking feature in my room than I ever imagined it would be.
Everything was left immaculately clean and Deri is a very hard worker.
More than happy to recommend.

Our experience from Deri and his team has been excellent!
We moved into this 55 year old bungalow last year. After a long power cut in the storms, we realised we needed an alternative form of heat.
There is no chimney in the sitting room, a newish, large extension and to our surprise, no loft access, as the old gable end wall separated it from the main loft. Deri said, this wouldn't be a problem. He was right.
Day 1, the wood burner was fitted and installed into the sitting room.
Day 2, the roof was opened and the flue connected to the burner.
Then on the hottest day, so far, of the year, it was tested.
There was no mess, everything was kept clean and tidy as they worked.
We are delighted, this long, featureless room now has a wonderful focal point. Our Lurcher approves too.
I'd be giving 5+ stars, if I could.

So far I have only used Calon yr Adref to sweep my chimneys. They are friendly, professional, certified to NACS standard, rapid and thorough. They leave no mess and are reasonably priced.
I would not hesitate to recommend them as a chimney sweeping service.
If I needed a new burner then they would be the first business I would consult.

I met Deri in his shop in town. Very knowledgeable, passionate about stoves and offered helpful sound advice about log burners and installation.
We arranged an appointment to meet, so Deri could survey and assess installation of a wood burner.
Fitting and commissioning process was quick and efficient and completed to his exacting standards.
I can't fault the process from start to finish and highly recommend Deri and his team.
Thankyou for a brilliant job.
