Definitions

'Calon yr Adref', 'We', 'Us', 'Our' etc, refers to Calon yr Adref Ltd, a registered company in England and Wales (company registration number 14814748).

'You', 'Your', 'Visitor', 'Customer' etc, refers to yourself or any other persons viewing this document on our website.  

'Installer' means the person tasked with fitting an appliance.  In cases where we have been instructed to facilitate the installation, this will be installation employees of Calon yr Adref or approved fitters sub-contracted by Calon yr Adref.   In cases where we are not instructed to facilitate the installation, the Installer would be whomever is tasked with fitting the appliance at the instruction of the Customer.

By using our website you agree to observe and adhere to our terms and policies (listed within the footer of the website).  


Placing an Order

By placing an order you confirm that you are a UK resident of at least 18 years of age, and agree that you have read, understood and agree to these terms and conditions.  These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. 


Product & Service Prices

We will always endeavour to provide you the best possible value for money.

We strive to be competitive in our marketplace not just on price-point of products, but also on the value of our services and offerings.  If you have found a cheaper competitor and would like us to see if we are able to match or beat their price, we encourage you to contact us with details of the online competitor's offer so that we can review the complete offer.    


Online Payments

Our payment pages are secured with 256-bit encryption as standard to help keep your payment submission data safe from prying eyes. 

We accept all major UK credit and debit cards, as well as offering mobile wallet payment options and direct bank transfers.   In instances of payments involving currency conversion fees or other special handling fees such as optional faster payment options, the Customer agrees to absorb these fees and/or adjust the payment accordingly to ensure that we receive the full amount to cover the value of your bill / order.   We will not dispatch goods or proceed with any orders where payment is not made, or where payment is incomplete.

Delivery Of Goods

Delivery times will vary across our different products but we will always endeavour to get your stove delivered to you at the earliest possible date.   

To protect you and your purchase, we will only deliver goods to the address specified on the order.   All goods must be checked and signed for upon delivery.   Once a delivery date has been confirmed, you agree to ensure that yourself or a trusted person be available to take delivery as well as check and sign for the delivery.   

If we are unable to deliver on the agreed date, we will do all that we can to re-arrange a convenient date with you.   If the delivery is unsuccessful due to nobody being available to accept, check, and sign for the goods, this may incur additional costs to you in order to attempt re-delivery.  

Any damaged, faulty or incorrect goods delivered should have the damage marked on the delivery note and you should inform us as soon as is practicable but at the latest within 7 days of delivery.  


Installation of Appliances

If you are purchasing an appliance without requesting that we facilitate the installation, the Customer agrees that the appliance will be installed in accordance with the appliance manufacturer's specifications and within the scope of any and all building regulations relevant to the installation of the appliance.  

If you are purchasing an appliance and instructing us to facilitate the installation, please note that installation is always dependent on availability of the appliance and the installer.   We will liaise with you to arrange for a suitable installation date for your purchased appliance.   Once an installation date has been agreed, you agree to ensure that yourself or a trusted person be available to grant access to the premises and be present for the duration of the installer's presence at the premises.   If the Customer intends to grant access and not be present at the premises themselves and do not intend to have a trusted person present on the Customer's behalf, the Customer agrees to take photographic documentation of the premises and any storage locations within the premises including but not limited to cupboards, drawers and storage boxes to ensure that there can be no concern with regard to damage to or loss of property, fittings, or furnishings within the premises.  

The installation manual and any other documentation supplied with your appliance and/or by the Installer must be retained for future reference.  


Returns of Unwanted Goods

We adhere strictly to the Consumer Rights Act and as such the Customer has the right to return certain unwanted goods ordered online with us.   In order for any unwanted items to be accepted as a return of unwanted goods, they must be generic, non-customised, non-bespoke goods which were sold 'as-is'.   Items returned as unwanted must be un-used, as-new in their original packaging, and be considered fit for re-sale.   We may be able to offer partial refunds on some items not meeting the criteria to be returned and accepted, but this is solely at our discretion and cannot always reasonably be offered.  

The Customer agrees to complete an online returns form within 14 days of receipt of the unwanted goods, and await a response from us before proceeding to return any items, so that we can make the necessary checks and arrangements in order to validate and/or facilitate your return.

Refunds

Where a refund has been agreed by us, we can only transact your refund to the original payment method.   We will always endeavour to make this payment as quickly as possible, but no later than 30 days from the date the refund was agreed to by us.   


Guarantees


All our products come with at least a 12 months Manufacturers Guarantee. Extended warranties for up to 5 years are available to our customers. If a product is faulty in the first 28 days then we will give you the option of a repair, a replacement or a refund. After this period the normal manufacturer's terms and conditions will apply. This guarantee excludes faults caused by misuse, accidents or negligence. Also not covered are consumables (e.g. fuses, batteries etc), routine maintenance such as software updates, re-tuning and cosmetic damage. If an engineer is called out and no manufacturers fault is found the cost of the call will be charged to you. As with all products, the instruction manual should be your first port of call. Failing that we are available for telephone support during shop opening times, or via messenger outside of these.

Ownership and digital rights of media and content on our website is strictly maintained as that of the creator, be it Calon yr Adref, its employees, its suppliers, manufacturers or others.    It is strictly prohibited to copy, broadcast or redistribute content, media or information in any way from this website without our prior written consent. 

Where information provided is found to be incorrect, we will make every effort to expedite the correction of this information, and in instances of incorrect pricing we reserve the right to reject or cancel any orders we are unable to reasonably facilitate the order.
