Elevated on an generous and appropriately sleek log store, the sleek minimalist beauty of the Sanctuary wood stove is emphasised by the absence of a handle on the door.  Instead, a smooth rolling catch mechanism is used, allowing you to effortlessly pull the door open and simply push it back closed when you're done, with no need for a handle at  all - allowing for a beautiful look of symmetry.

It has a curvaceous door, large viewing window and comes with a choice of steel or brass door furniture.

Named The Sanctuary, this stove is there for those quiet moments when you want to shut out the world and enjoy some peace, tranquillity, and warmth.

It is shown here with brass air controls and trim.  Steel finish is also available as an option for the controls and trim, whilst the stove itself is also available in a range of finishes for you to choose from.

Chesney's Sanctuary 5WS-LS wood burning stove is DEFRA exempt for use in smoke control areas which means it can be safely and legally used in all major towns and cities throughout the UK. It produces minimal emissions that are one tenth of the level that a comparable DEFRA exempt stove is permitted to produce and has an efficiency rating of 86.4%.

Please note the rear DTC is 200mm or 100mm when using insulated flue.

I am thrilled with my new logburner. Deri was very professional and the whole process from ordering to seeing the job finished was outstanding. The end result looks amazing - in fact even better than ‘amazing’! Thanks to Deri’s suggestion to add a large slate behind the fire it is now an even more wonderful, striking feature in my room than I ever imagined it would be. Everything was left immaculately clean and Deri is a very hard worker. More than happy to recommend.

We chose Deris firm to install out multifuel stove as we were impressed with both his knowledge and also reviews. Deri listened to what we envisioned in regard to the type of stove we wished for and helped us to make the correct decision to fit in with our decore, fire place surround and kilowatt size. We are extremely pleased with all works done and also with the firm of builders he works with. Pleasant ,professional and helpful local firm is Calon yr Adref. A pleasure to have working within our home. Thank you Dave and Diane

Our experience from Deri and his team has been excellent! We moved into this 55 year old bungalow last year. After a long power cut in the storms, we realised we needed an alternative form of heat. There is no chimney in the sitting room, a newish, large extension and to our surprise, no loft access, as the old gable end wall separated it from the main loft. Deri said, this wouldn't be a problem. He was right. Day 1, the wood burner was fitted and installed into the sitting room. Day 2, the roof was opened and the flue connected to the burner. Then on the hottest day, so far, of the year, it was tested. There was no mess, everything was kept clean and tidy as they worked. We are delighted, this long, featureless room now has a wonderful focal point. Our Lurcher approves too. I'd be giving 5+ stars, if I could.

So far I have only used Calon yr Adref to sweep my chimneys. They are friendly, professional, certified to NACS standard, rapid and thorough. They leave no mess and are reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to recommend them as a chimney sweeping service. If I needed a new burner then they would be the first business I would consult.

I met Deri in his shop in town. Very knowledgeable, passionate about stoves and offered helpful sound advice about log burners and installation. We arranged an appointment to meet, so Deri could survey and assess installation of a wood burner. Fitting and commissioning process was quick and efficient and completed to his exacting standards. I can't fault the process from start to finish and highly recommend Deri and his team. Thankyou for a brilliant job.
